About Edward
Edward Conway practises throughout Ontario in civil litigation, family law, corporate law, employment law and personal injury law, including credit litigation, and has acted for both creditors and debtors on commercial finance matters such as power of sale and corporate reorganization. He was called to the bar of Newfoundland and Labrador in 1992 and of Ontario in 2001, and holds law degrees from Dalhousie University and Universite Laval, along with a master's degree in economics from Carleton University and a bachelor's degree in economics from Memorial University. From 1999 to 2019 he served as counsel to several Senate of Canada committees, including as counsel to the Speaker of the Senate and to the Standing Committee on Internal Economy, and has prepared cost-benefit analyses on major infrastructure financing questions such as the Muskrat Falls hydro project and Ottawa's LRT. He has appeared as counsel in numerous reported cases in Ontario and Newfoundland and Labrador courts, including before the Ontario Court of Appeal.
