About Edward Conway

Edward Conway runs an Ottawa law practice handling civil litigation, family law, corporate law, employment law and personal injury matters for clients across Ontario. Conway was called to the bar of Newfoundland and Labrador in 1992 and to the bar of Ontario in 2001, and now works from an office on Cartier Street in the city's Golden Triangle.

Conway holds law degrees from Universite Laval and Dalhousie University, along with a master's degree in economics from Carleton University and a bachelor's degree in economics from Memorial University. That background in economics doesn't stay academic: it carries into corporate finance work such as mortgage enforcement and corporate debtor reorganization. Conway has also served as counsel to several Senate of Canada committees since 2001, including counsel to the Speaker of the Senate from 2015 to 2019, and publishes an extensive blog of case commentary on civil litigation, family law and corporate law topics.
