About Douglas

Douglas Conolly leads McQuarrie's dispute resolution practice and sits on the firm's executive committee. He represents individuals and corporations in industries including mining, real estate development, and construction, with a practice spanning expropriation claims, real estate disputes, commercial leases, and lien and trust issues under the Builders Lien Act. He's argued cases before the BC Supreme Court and Court of Appeal, the Federal Court, and the Tax Court of Canada, including complex multi-party construction and joint-venture disputes. He has written on constructive expropriation and trust provisions under the Builders Lien Act.
