About Donald

Powell has practiced law at Fraize Law Offices since 2001. He completed a Bachelor's degree (First Class) at Memorial University in 1982, winning its medal for academic excellence, and obtained his law degree from Dalhousie University Law School (now the Schulich School of Law) in 1989. He was called to the bar in Nova Scotia in 1990 and in Newfoundland and Labrador in 1991. His primary areas of practice are corporate and commercial, real property, administrative, family, and personal injury law, and he regularly represents clients in Canada Pension Disability claims and Workers' Compensation matters. He has appeared at all levels of court in Newfoundland and Labrador as well as the Federal Court of Appeal.
