About Dixon

Dixon Emanuel is a criminal defence lawyer whose practice covers general criminal offences, criminal procedure matters, failure to comply charges, and homicide and murder cases. He focused heavily on criminal law throughout his studies, completing numerous criminal law courses, and in his final year took part in the University of Windsor's Judicial Internship Program, where he learned firsthand how criminal procedure and the justice system operate. During his articling term in Toronto he worked on matters that ranged from failure-to-comply charges up through serious allegations of murder, and he built advocacy and client-service skills through his work with Legal Assistance Windsor. He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor and a degree in criminology from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, and was called to the Bar of Ontario following his articling in Toronto.
