About Cassie

Cassie Lumsden is a Vancouver-based associate at Eyford Partners LLP with a civil litigation practice covering municipal law, Aboriginal law, expropriation, insurance law, professional regulation, and judicial review. She has advocated for clients before the BC Provincial Court and BC Supreme Court. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Geographical Sciences with distinction from the University of British Columbia in 2021 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria in 2024, concentrating in environmental law and sustainability, and she was called to the British Columbia bar in 2025. She has published on international environmental marine law, including a chapter in the 2025 Routledge Handbook of Climate Law and Governance.
