About Diane

Diane has been a partner at SV Law since 1995 and was the firm's first female partner. Her practice focuses on advising privately held corporations and their directors and shareholders, particularly businesses in manufacturing, farming, and agriculture, along with the related land and real property matters those businesses raise. She also handles mergers, acquisitions, sales, and banking transactions, and maintains a solicitor's practice in estate planning, including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and estate administration. Diane holds an LL.B. from Queen's University and was called to the bar in 1988. She currently sits on the board of the Grand River Agricultural Society, which operates the Elora Racetrack.
