About Devinder

Devinder Shory has practiced law in Calgary for more than 30 years, working mainly in business and real estate law on the sale, purchase, financing, leasing, and transfer of real estate and businesses. He also has experience across immigration, corporate, criminal, personal injury, family, and wills and estates law. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from Punjabi University in Patiala, India, and is enrolled as a Barrister and Solicitor with the Law Society of Alberta. He served as a Member of Parliament from 2008 to 2015, sitting on several parliamentary committees, and has received the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal and the Alberta Centennial Medal for his community work. He is also active with organizations such as Calgary Legal Guidance and the Genesis Centre in Calgary.
