About Jatin
Jatin Shory is an immigration lawyer who handles litigation and business immigration matters across Canada, including spousal sponsorship appeals, humanitarian and compassionate applications, and Federal Court challenges to negative decisions. He also works on border matters such as detention and inadmissibility issues, and advises startups and companies on talent migration and economic immigration pathways. He developed the immigration practice at his family's firm and has testified before the Canadian House of Commons on immigration policy. He currently chairs the Canadian Bar Association's National Immigration Section, is an adjunct instructor at Queen's University in citizenship and immigration law, and sits on the board of the Calgary Bridge Foundation for Youth.
