About Desiree

Desiree Smith is an associate in Cunningham Swan's general litigation group, supporting clients in estate litigation and wills and estates matters. Before joining the firm in 2016, she began her legal career at a boutique estate litigation firm and co-taught the estate litigation course at Queen's University Faculty of Law. She guides estate trustees, attorneys, and guardians through will challenges, passing of accounts, dependant support applications, and estate administration, and is an active member of the Estate Planning Council of Eastern Ontario.
