About Derek
Derek Sonnichsen joined the firm in October 2017 after completing his articles in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. He grew up in Dartmouth and earned both his undergraduate and law degrees at Dalhousie University. His practice is divided between criminal defence and family law matters, including divorce, child care arrangements and impaired driving charges. He was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2017.
