About Denise
Denise Junkin completed dual Canadian and US law degrees at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy, and she joined the Ontario bar in 2015. She started her career as in-house counsel for one of Canada's largest property and casualty insurers, learning firsthand how insurers set policy and make claims decisions. Her early practice covered car accidents, slip-and-fall claims, property damage, and special investigations work, and she has appeared before several levels of court, the License Appeal Tribunal, and on appeals to the Divisional Court. Today Junkin's work centers on personal injury matters such as motor vehicle collisions, slip-and-fall injuries, disability claims, and wrongful dismissal cases. She describes herself as committed to her clients and to securing fair compensation for them.
