About Demar

Demar Pitter is an associate and Patent Agent Trainee at Arcade, specializing in patent prosecution. After earning his J.D. from the University of Ottawa and gaining more than ten years of scientific expertise, including a Ph.D. in organic chemistry and a postdoctoral fellowship in chemistry and biomolecular sciences, he shifted his focus to intellectual property practice. He advises clients in the life sciences, chemical, and engineering fields on patent drafting, prosecution, and strategic IP, and his prior research was published in journals including ACS Chemical Biology, Organic Letters, and the Journal of the American Chemical Society.
