About Deidre

Deidre J. Herbert is a retired co-founder of McLellan Herbert Locke, having established the firm in 1992 with Hugh S. McLellan. She served as an ad hoc Bencher for the Law Society of British Columbia on Unauthorized Practice matters from 1992 to 1994, and is a former chair of the Canadian Bar Association's Wills & Trusts (Vancouver) subsection. She contributed to several CLE publications and was a committee member of the Succession Law Reform Project at the British Columbia Law Institute, and a former member of the Vancouver Bar Association and the Trial Lawyers Association of BC.
