About Dawn
Dawn Dickinson graduated from the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law in 2021 after completing an undergraduate degree at Carleton University in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a specialization in law. In law school she was Communications Coordinator of the Criminal Law Students' Association, a committee member of the Common Law Students' Society and a participant in the annual Ottawa Law Classic hockey game supporting youth mental health. She completed several internships with Ottawa criminal defence practitioners and worked as a student case worker at the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic, representing clients on Provincial Offences Act and Criminal Code charges. Dawn is a Recent Call Director of the Criminal Lawyers' Association and a member of the Defence Counsel Association of Ottawa. Outside the office she referees hockey with the Ontario Women's Hockey Association and skates recreationally on the Rideau Canal.
