About David

David's litigation work centers on complex commercial disputes, employment matters and investigations, acting for major financial institutions, corporations, shareholders and senior executives. He frequently handles cross-border files along with insolvency and restructuring proceedings for directors, officers and creditors. Before joining Necpal Litigation, he spent eight years in Toronto at Lenczner Slaght LLP and in New York at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, and he now serves as an adjunct professor teaching at the University of Toronto's law faculty. He previously served as Acting Assistant District Attorney in Kings County, New York. David earned his law degree with honours from the University of Toronto and holds a BA from Queen's University, and was called to the bar in New York in 2017 and in Ontario in 2020.
