About David

David Masse is Of Counsel and a corporate, commercial and securities lawyer called to the bar in both Ontario and Quebec, with more than thirty years advising multinational clients across a range of industries. His practice emphasizes risk management and legal and regulatory compliance, including drafting agreements, policies and procedures and providing legal opinions across business units. He has designed and implemented compliance processes tied to risk management, and has worked closely with senior management and boards of directors on governance issues. David has led securities law compliance for publicly traded companies listed on multiple exchanges, ensuring they meet their obligations. His prior roles include positions at CGI Group Inc., BCE Inc., Bell Canada, and de Grandpré Chait. He holds an LL.B. (1979) and B.C.L. (1978) from McGill University.
