About David
David Koski focuses on estate administration, helping clients navigate the probate and estate administration process in Alberta. Koski studied law at the University of Western Ontario (now Western University) and has practiced law since 1996. Since 2019, Koski has served on the Surrogate Rules Advisory Committee, which guided the 2022 amendments to the Surrogate Rules and contributed to the Surrogate Digital Service, an electronic grant application filing platform. Koski is active in continuing legal education for wills and estates lawyers through the Legal Education Society of Alberta, presenting and chairing sessions and contributing to the 2022 Alberta Wills and Estates Practice Manual. Koski is also a sessional instructor at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law and was appointed King's Counsel in June 2024. Koski is a past chair of the Canadian Bar Association's Wills, Estates & Trusts Section (North), past president of the Estate Planning Council of Edmonton, and a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation.
