About David
David is a partner who joined the firm's business law practice in 2005 after moving to Kingston from Nova Scotia, where he had practiced civil and commercial litigation since his call to the bar in 2003. He has extensive experience guiding clients through the purchase and sale of companies, including dental practices, software companies, pharmacies, medical service companies and construction businesses. David works with business owners and accountants to reorganize companies for tax planning or asset protection, and helps clients secure growth capital or bridge financing from banks, private financiers or venture capital groups. He also advises on employment matters, drafting employment contracts for employers and assisting employees who have been terminated or treated unfairly at work. David studied Math and Physics at St. Francis Xavier University before earning his law degree at the University of New Brunswick.
