About David

David Bishop is a partner at McKercher LLP's Regina office focusing on corporate and commercial law, particularly representing developers and home builders, along with civil litigation, criminal law, and estates. He is a past Bencher of the Law Society of Saskatchewan and served on the SaskEnergy and TransGas board from 2008 to 2018. He was appointed King's Counsel in 2021 and received the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal in 2023 for contributions to Saskatchewan. David earned a Bachelor of Arts honours in History from the University of Saskatchewan in 1987 and a Bachelor of Laws in 1990, and holds a Chartered Director designation from the Directors College.
