David Buffett is Counsel at Cox & Palmer's St. John's office with more than 50 years of legal practice in civil litigation, personal injury, insurance law, criminal law and employment law. His civil litigation practice has an emphasis on personal injury and insurance matters, and his employment law work has included acting as a labour arbitrator. He has appeared at all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada. Buffett graduated from Queen's University Law School, was admitted to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 1975, and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2002. He has been recognized in Best Lawyers in Canada for his practice in administrative law, alternative dispute resolution, corporate and commercial litigation, insurance law and labour and employment law.
