About David

David grew up in central Halifax and has lived in Dartmouth since 2012. A graduate of Dalhousie Law School, he was called to the bar in 2005 and joined Heritage House Law in 2012 at the invitation of Blair MacKinnon. His general practice emphasizes real estate transactions, including purchases, sales and financing for residential and commercial deals, and he also has significant experience preparing wills and powers of attorney and assisting with estate matters. He advises on contracts and small business matters such as incorporations and the review of commercial leases and franchise agreements. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Real Estate Lawyers Association of Nova Scotia, and has sat on the Board of Governors for Northwood since 2012, chairing its Safety and Quality sub-committee.
