About David
David Dueck is a partner in Osler's Competition and Foreign Investment group. His practice covers all aspects of competition law, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, trade practices, distribution practices, criminal and civil investigations, and compliance matters. Dueck also advises clients on merger review under the Investment Canada Act, including net benefit and national security considerations. He was recognized as one of the top 40 lawyers under 40 in foreign investment worldwide by Global Competition Review. Dueck advises clients across a wide range of sectors, including consumer goods, energy, pharmaceuticals, communications, financial services, technology, chemicals, agriculture, and transportation. He is active in the Canadian Bar Association's national Competition Law and Foreign Investment section, currently serving as vice-chair of its Foreign Investment Review Committee, and previously chaired its Mergers Committee and its Law and Economics Committee.
