About Shane
Shane Katz has been a member of the Singer Kwinter legal team since 2001, acting for plaintiffs in personal injury, insurance claims, and medical malpractice matters. He has advocated for clients at all levels of court in Ontario and has been involved in significant cases such as Bonaiuto v. Pilot Insurance Company and Hazan v. Ing Insurance Company. Shane is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Advocates' Society, and sits on the OBA's Insurance Law Section executive committee. He has presented at continuing legal education programs and mentored articling students and junior lawyers. Shane earned his BA at the University of Western Ontario in 2000 and graduated from Queen's University's Faculty of Law in 2003, before being called to the Ontario Bar in 2004.
