About Darryl

Darryl Aarbo has appeared at all levels of court in Alberta for over 22 years. He earned a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Alberta and a law degree from Queen's University in 1994, started his career at a labour and employment firm on Bay Street, and was called to the Alberta bar in 1997 after returning to Alberta. He later worked with a large national firm in Calgary before joining Aarbo Fuldauer. As a litigator, Darryl has run trials and hearings across the courts and tribunals but prefers negotiated settlements and alternative dispute resolution where possible, with particular expertise in estates, family, employment, contract and tort law. As a solicitor, he manages a busy real estate and wills practice and acts as corporate solicitor for several companies and not-for-profit organizations. He was appointed King's Counsel, then Queen's Counsel, in 2016 and was named the Canadian Bar Association Alberta Branch's 'Unsung Hero' in March 2016.
