About Darryl

Darryl Aarbo has appeared at all levels of court in Alberta for over 22 years. He earned a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Alberta and a law degree from Queen's University in 1994, started his career at a labour and employment firm on Bay Street, and was called to the Alberta bar in 1997 after returning to Alberta. He later worked with a large national firm in Calgary before joining Aarbo Fuldauer. As a litigator, Darryl has run trials and hearings across the courts and tribunals but prefers negotiated settlements and alternative dispute resolution where possible, with a particular focus on estates, family, employment, contract and tort law. As a solicitor, he manages a busy real estate and wills practice and acts as corporate solicitor for several companies and not-for-profit organizations. He was appointed King's Counsel, then Queen's Counsel, in 2016 and was named the Canadian Bar Association Alberta Branch's 'Unsung Hero' in March 2016.
