About Clarke
Clarke Ries completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Victoria and attended law school at the University of Saskatchewan on scholarship. He began his career at a national law firm and one of Calgary's leading corporate litigation boutiques before moving into a criminal defence practice, during which he never lost a trial, and ultimately into family law, which now makes up most of his practice. Clarke favours diplomacy and creative, cost-effective solutions for clients, while remaining a capable litigator when negotiation isn't enough. He specializes in high-conflict divorces, including those involving a spouse with a private corporation or small business.
