About Darren

Darren Williams is the founding principal of League and Williams, practising primarily in wills and estate disputes, personal injury, and marine and transportation litigation. He's appeared at every level of court in Canada, including a 2017 win at the Supreme Court of Canada in Cowper-Smith v. Morgan. Before law, he worked in the commercial fishing industry along the BC coast. He earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2001. He's served as president of the Victoria Bar Association and belongs to several maritime law associations.
