About Danusia

Danusia Bourdon began her legal career in Calgary as a Crown Prosecutor and then a criminal defence lawyer before moving into family law exclusively. She draws on 22 years of courtroom experience across the Alberta Court of Justice, the Court of King's Bench, and the Court of Appeal, and has conducted hundreds of trials and appeals. Bourdon's clients often include people in domestically violent relationships who need a strong litigator, as well as those facing a former partner who refuses to settle, negotiate, or mediate, though she also helps clients resolve matters through settlement, mediation, and arbitration where possible.
