About Daniel
Daniel H. Lee is an associate counsel at Island Law Office. Born in South Korea, he moved to British Columbia in 2013 to study philosophy at Quest University in Squamish, then obtained his JD from the University of British Columbia in 2023 and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2024. During law school he volunteered with the Law Students' Legal Advice Program and contributed to access-to-justice and law reform projects at the BC Law Institute and the BC Civil Liberties Association, and he articled with the Everyone Legal Clinic before moving to Victoria to begin his legal career.
