About Daniel

Daniel Fitzmaurice is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Law, where he received the Lorenzo Di Cecco Memorial Award in Criminal Law. Called to the bar in March 2022, he has worked on criminal cases ranging from common assault to murder before the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice. In 2022 he and John Fitzmaurice had a client discharged of attempt murder following a preliminary inquiry, and in 2018, as a student, he assisted co-counsel John Fitzmaurice and Phillip Campbell on a two-month first-degree murder jury trial in which the accused was acquitted of several counts of attempt murder.
