About Dan
Dan practises exclusively in construction law and dispute resolution, advising owners, subcontractors, suppliers and builders on contract reviews, tender issues and construction matters, as well as litigation and arbitration. He has handled construction liens, trust claims, delay claims, construction insurance claims, and architect's and engineer's errors and omissions claims, and has experience with surety bond claims and document-heavy cases. Dan earned his LLB from the University of New Brunswick in 1991 and a BA (Honours) from Queen's University in 1988; he was called to the Ontario bar in 1993. He has been ranked in Lexpert and Best Lawyers in Canada for construction law and chairs the Ottawa Construction Association.
