About Dan

Dan Dedic's practice focuses on domestic and cross-border financing and corporate transactions, with significant experience in debt financings, high yield issuances, recapitalizations, and restructurings. He advises public and private borrowers, private equity sponsors, banks and other financial institutions, and private lenders on complex financing transactions. Dan also advises mining companies, offtakers, streamers, and royalty holders on mining finance transactions. He is recognized as a banking lawyer by Best Lawyers in Canada, The Legal 500 Canada, IFLR1000, Chambers Canada, and The Lexpert 500, and has been ranked since 2018 in The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory for asset-based lending and banking and financial institutions. Dan is a regular presenter at Osgoode Hall's annual conference on PPSA issues and is a past board member of Youthdale Treatment Centres, where he chaired its governance committee.
