About Cynthia

Lacombe has practised criminal and penal law from the start of her career, representing both civilian and police accused before trial and appellate courts, in both French and English. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a certificate in communications from the Université du Québec à Montréal. She articled at Waxman Dorval Perron Del Negro in 2010 and joined Schneider & Gaggino, now Schneider & Associés, in 2011, where she practised for nearly nine years, representing accused across the province from Montréal to Puvirnituq and Gatineau to Ville-Marie. She writes case-law summaries for the Dubois Schneider Criminal Code and trains security guards on the legal framework governing their work. She served as official financial representative for a Projet Montréal leadership candidate in 2016-2017 and sat on the board of the Musée du Rock'n'roll québécois from 2014 to 2016.
