About Jessica

Mailhot practises with the conviction that behind every file is a person who deserves to be heard, understood, and defended rigorously, a philosophy that guides her daily criminal and penal law practice. A graduate in law from the Université de Sherbrooke, she completed her professional articling at BMD Avocats, where she began her career as a criminal and penal law lawyer. She represents and advises clients in both French and English. She is active in her legal community as a board member of the Jeune Barreau de Laval, reflecting her commitment to the profession and to access to justice.
