Corey takes on a wide range of litigation, from medical defence and professional liability claims to health law, commercial disputes and tax files. Corey works to protect clients' reputations and advises them on complex privacy questions.

Called to the Ontario bar in 2013, a year after finishing a JD at the University of Ottawa, Corey joined the firm's Canadian partnership in 2021. Corey's courtroom work spans several levels of court across Canada, with trials heard by juries and by judges sitting alone. Clients have also had Corey in their corner before administrative and regulatory tribunals, the Ontario Physicians and Surgeons Discipline Tribunal among them, and Corey has built real experience with how technology figures in litigation and in regulatory investigations. Since 2025, Best Lawyers has recognized Corey for medical negligence and personal injury litigation.

Before law school, Corey's undergraduate studies in history and political science involved both the University of Ottawa and Georgetown University. During a stint working in Washington, DC, Corey volunteered with Presidential Classroom, a program aimed at the next generation of leaders worldwide. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada honoured Corey as a Big Brother of the Year.

Sport matters, too. Corey once competed in amateur sports across North America and still plays golf and hockey. In May 2024 that meant suiting up for Gowling WLG Grit at the Lawyers for Kids Charity Hockey Tournament, a fundraiser for the YMCA of the National Capital Region, where the team took the final 2:1. Corey called it a good way to get colleagues out together while helping local kids.
