About Corey
Corey Steinberg is a general litigator called to the bars of British Columbia (2001) and Ontario (2006) who has appeared at all levels of court in both provinces, focusing on commercial litigation and defamation. He has also appeared before a number of tribunals, including the Ontario Human Rights Commission and several professional regulatory bodies. Steinberg co-authored two books on legal procedure and helped develop one of the first Canadian law school courses on internet law while at the University of British Columbia. He practised in Toronto from 2006 to 2010 before returning to Squamish, his home community, to resume a local practice. He has taught for the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario and has served as general counsel to community organizations including Whistler Animals Galore.
