About Cole
Cole Tavener's practice centers on companies in the construction, infrastructure and energy sectors. He assists clients with project financing, contract negotiation, and disputes, along with compliance questions involving the Ontario Energy Board. Cole is a licensed engineer in Ontario and spent years in senior engineering roles, including as an engineering director, at electricity companies in Ontario and the United Kingdom before joining Osler. That background gives him practical insight into how power networks are planned, built and operated, from nuclear facilities to remote communities. He holds a law degree from Western University along with graduate degrees in business and engineering.
