About Claudia
Claudia Connolly has practiced criminal defence in Lethbridge and the surrounding communities for over 30 years, representing clients across the full range of criminal law matters. Her current practice is largely resolution-focused, aiming to secure the best possible outcomes for her clients without unnecessary court proceedings. Claudia received the Legal Aid Alberta Access to Justice Award in 2008 for her work assisting marginalized clients. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Lethbridge in 1988 and her LLB from the University of Calgary in 1991, and she was appointed Queen's Counsel in March 2020. She remains active in the Lethbridge community, including sponsoring a local Indigenous youth hockey team, and previously served on the Board of Directors for the John Howard Society.
