About Vincent

Vincent Guinan joined Connolly Shurtz Law as a student-at-law and has spent 8 years practising as a criminal defence lawyer, securing not-guilty verdicts and lenient sentences in cases involving charges including second-degree murder, sexual assault, break and enter, assault, and drug trafficking. He also represents clients in quasi-criminal regulatory proceedings arising under legislation such as the Firearms Act, the Species at Risk Act, the Fisheries Act, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Vincent holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan, and he earned his law degree from Bond University in Australia.
