About Amina
Amina Aftab was called to the bar and became a member of the Law Society of Alberta in 2025 and practices family law at Colborne Allyjan Law, which she joined in 2026. She earned a Bachelor of Business in Management from Mount Royal University in 2017 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary in 2023, completing her articles in family law. Before law school she worked as a project manager, developing organizational and problem-solving skills she now applies to her practice. As a parent of two, she brings a personal understanding of family matters to her client relationships and is a member of the Calgary Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association and Alberta Women Lawyers (AWL).
