About Clare
Clare Hopkins practices exclusively in family law, drawing on her background as a former Assistant Crown Attorney. As a prosecutor, she handled all types of criminal offences, including homicides and sexual assaults, which gave her deep empathy for victims and a strong drive to advocate for justice. Before that role, she clerked for judges of the Superior Court of Justice, an experience that shaped her perspective on how courts actually work. Combining these vantage points lets her offer realistic advice and develop strategies aimed at helping clients reach their goals. She earned her BA (Hons) from the University of Ottawa in 2010 and her JD from the University of Windsor in 2017, and was called to the bar in 2018. Clare is a member of the Hamilton Law Association.
