About Christopher
Christopher Tucker joined Powell Barrister Professional Corporation in 2010 as an associate lawyer practicing exclusively in professional negligence. He was called to the bar in 2009, after articling and working as a summer student at a Toronto litigation boutique handling real estate litigation, employment law, personal injury, and general civil litigation, and after practicing family law and civil litigation in Waterloo, Ontario. He earned his Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2008, receiving the J.D.S. Tory Research and Writing Award, and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Waterloo in 2001, funded by Ontario Graduate Scholarships and a SSHRC Doctoral Fellowship. His current practice focuses on defending professionals against negligence claims involving real estate agents and lawyers. He has also taught at Duke University and several Canadian universities.
