Agricultural LawChristopher (Chris) Donald focuses his practice on corporate and commercial law, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, commercial lending, commercial real estate, and municipal law, advising clients in the real estate, energy, and agribusiness sectors and often acting as Saskatchewan counsel in multi-jurisdictional transactions. He was one of Robertson Stromberg's managing partners from 2006 to 2018 and was appointed King's Counsel in 2016. Before joining the firm in 2000, Chris was an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Saskatchewan's College of Law and had practised corporate-commercial litigation in Toronto, where he was called to the Ontario Bar in 1990. He has been a sessional lecturer at the College of Law since 2015 and contributes regularly to academic journals including the Canadian Business Law Journal and the McGill Law Journal.
