About Christopher
Christopher Hart is a partner at Nixon Wenger LLP with significant experience in civil and estate litigation, regularly appearing as lead counsel in trials, arbitrations, and appeals in British Columbia. His advocacy practice focuses on estate litigation, construction disputes, and commercial litigation, and he is often retained as trial counsel by other lawyers when a matter appears headed for trial. Hart began his career in 2012 at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP's Ottawa office before joining Nixon Wenger in British Columbia in 2016. He earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa in 2011 and an M.Sc. and B.Sc. (Hons) in chemistry from the University of Ottawa and Queen's University, and was called to the bar in 2012. He received his Q. Arb. designation from the ADR Institute of Canada in 2025 and has expanded his practice to include acting as an arbitrator.
