About Cheryl
Cheryl has worked in family law since 1998, building a name for herself as a skilled, resolute yet resolution-focused advocate in negotiations, collaborative law, mediation, arbitration and courtroom trials up to the Court of Appeal. Clients describe her as calming and compassionate while remaining direct and efficient. She concentrates heavily on complex disputes over custody, access, support and property division, and applies her advanced training in alternative dispute resolution to high-conflict files. Cheryl is known especially for handling high-net-worth separations, often working with forensic accountants and valuators, and for cases involving parental alienation, child abduction and mobility disputes. She holds an LL.B. and an LL.M. in Alternative Dispute Resolution and has taught at Osgoode Hall Law School and Humber College.
