About Farnaz

Farnaz Mirshahi has worked exclusively in family law since being called to the Ontario bar in 2013, and has received advanced training in negotiation, mediation and collaborative practice. She articled with and worked alongside the now Madam Justice Fryer of the Superior Court of Justice from 2012 until her Honour's appointment to the bench in 2015. Farnaz guides clients through separation with a settlement-focused approach, though she also represents clients in court when needed, up to trial. She completed her LL.M. at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Law, having earned the Christopher Ondaatje scholarship, after finishing her LL.B. in 2010. She also studied internationally in the United Kingdom and Switzerland and holds an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto. Farnaz is a member of the Toronto and York Collaborative Practice Groups.
