About Charlotte
Charlotte Butler is an associate in Torkin Manes' Litigation Group, closely involved in the firm's civil and commercial litigation work. A clear communicator by nature, she developed her appreciation for language as a law student serving as Executive Editor of Critical Analysis of Law, one of the University of Toronto's legal journals, and working as a research assistant and editor on two book projects. She summered and articled at Torkin Manes before rejoining as an associate. Her practice touches litigation and dispute resolution, commercial litigation, insurance coverage, and cannabis matters. Charlotte holds a JD from the University of Toronto, an MA from New York University, and a BA from McGill University, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2023.
