About Charles

Charles Hammond's practice centres on estate litigation and administration, real property disputes, and defending professional negligence claims against lawyers, particularly in real estate and estate law. He represents executors, beneficiaries, and trustees in will challenges, dependent support claims, contested passings of accounts, and disputes between co-trustees, and also advises on estate administration. He acts in real property disputes involving co-ownership conflicts, disputed transactions, and title issues, and advises insurers and professionals on professional liability matters. He is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and has acted as counsel in a number of reported decisions, including appeals before the Ontario Court of Appeal.
