About Chanelle

Chanelle Rosenbaum is an associate lawyer at Marin Immigration Law who practises exclusively in Canadian immigration and citizenship law, focusing primarily on citizenship-by-descent applications, spousal and family sponsorship, and Express Entry matters. She immigrated to Canada herself before later becoming a Canadian citizen, which she says gives her personal as well as professional insight into the process. Before practising immigration law, she worked for several years in recruitment and human resources across the legal, financial, and not-for-profit sectors. She completed a Global Professional Master of Laws at the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at Queensland University of Technology in Australia, and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2021 after articling at a Toronto litigation firm.
