About Jacqueline

Jacqueline Bonisteel leads CILF's Ottawa office and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2012 after earning a JD Common Law (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Ottawa in 2011. Before joining CILF she practiced immigration law for four years at a major Ottawa law firm and has appeared before all divisions of the Immigration and Refugee Board and the Federal Court on immigration, refugee, and citizenship matters. She's a Certified Specialist in Citizenship and Immigration Law with the Law Society of Ontario and has spoken at conferences for the Canadian Bar Association, the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers, and several universities. Bonisteel is fluent in French.
